I've lost 10kg (22 pounds) without doing ANY cardio, restrictive fad diets or depriving myself of my favorite foods. Now I feel stronger and healthier than I've ever been, I love wearing my favourite old clothes again, and I have more energy to do the things I love.
But things weren't always like this for me...
After two kids under two, I was exhausted, and carrying extra weight that just wouldn’t budge. Even with a degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science, I found myself reaching for crappy processed convenience food and supplements to try and get me through. I was tired all the time, craving sugar, and gaining weight fast. My body felt heavy and sluggish, my brain was foggy, I was getting sick ALL the time and I honestly didn’t recognise myself anymore.
I had tried calorie counting and intermittent fasting, but it wasn’t working. The burnout would just get worse and it seemed like no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't shift the extra weight. I watched my friends struggle with Keto or sugar-free diets and experience the same struggles.
